Scientific and Consultative Council at LEGIST Law Firm

      Scientific and Consultative Council at LEGIST Law Firm was set up in 1997 on the initiative of George G. Golubov as an advisory board consisting of reputed jurists.

      The Council is headed by Doctor of law I.A. Prikhodko

      The Council comprises well-known jurists, such as T.E. Abova, Doctor of law, professor, Head of the Analytical Center of civilian studies of the Institute of State and Law, the Russian Academy of Sciences, N.I. Klein, Doctor of law, professor, Meritorious Lawyer of the Russian Federation, leading research fellow of the Institute of Law and Comparative Jurisprudence under the Government of RF, R. F. Kallistratova, Doctor of Law, Professor, Meritorious Lawyer of the Russian Federation, Head of Civil, Arbitration, Administrative Process Department, the Russian Academy of Justice, Professor of Civil and Arbitration Process Chair, the Law Academy of the Ministry of Justice of RF, Deputy President of the Arbitration Court at the International Union of Lawyers, Member of Scientific & Consultative Council of the High Arbitration Court of RF, Member of International Council of Procedural Law Specialists.

      The Council has been set up to promote the objectives of the firm set out in its constituent documents and, first of all, for the most efficient protection of the clients' interests.

      The main tasks of the Council are the analysis and generalization of the firm's law practice, elaboration of respective proposals on the law drafts under development, on draft comments on the laws and generalization of court practice of the plenary meetings (presidiums) of the highest judicial instances of the Russian Federation, assistance in elaboration of legal positions in the most important and complicated cases of the firm's clients.
